Black Belts

Ed Prehn

Ed Prehn started back in the early 90s when he was in his 20s. Ed has been a good friend of mine since we were little kids and met back in Boy Scouts around 40 years ago. Ed started his training after completing his computer education and made it to Green Belt. Ed then took off to start his career and family which took much of his time making him a great husband and father. He always talked of coming back. Years later Ed and his teenage son Zack joined up. Knowing we are only a small club now meeting one night a week, it was something he wanted to get Zack into. After many years and various changes to our program, Ed remembering his basics, even with the time that had passed, made the adjustments to our new material and has been most helpful  assisting with the other students. Ed is looking forward to his continued success both within the Martial Arts and in life.

Zack Prehn

Zack Prehn started his Karate training during his teens. Zack while in High School had many activities he was involved in and holding class only one night a week, sometimes would make it hard to attend. While Zack may have needed some motivation from his dad to push ahead, he had the will to do it, proven by the fact that he is also an Eagle Scout which is no easy task to accomplish for those who know. Zack has shown that while making Black Belt there is always more to learn, and I look forward to our continued training as I am always learning myself.
